Future? No Thanks! is a jolly and acerbic open world city game from seasoned satirist Paulo "Molleindustria" Perdicini. It's about a bitter old boomer trying to enjoy his final day in an ecosocialist paradise. There's a demo on Steam that gives you 30 minutes access to a realm of sentient toilets, cricket burgers, ornamental park guillotines, and cannabis vending machines. Speaking as a bitter old millennial, I found my 30 minutes delightful.

Entertaining open world satire Future? No Thanks! has been abruptly delayed by Steam content reviewers, due to the presence of multiple seconds of "untextured polygons depicting ass and boobs". In a statement, developer Paulo "Molleindustria" Pedercini reveals that Valve's moderation teams have had the game under review for "more than three weeks", but have yet to make a call. Steamworks documentation suggests that content review should take no more than seven business days.

Update 28/8: Valve appear to have taken action, changing the game's rating - the storepage can now be accessed in the UK. "It looks like Steam re-reviewed Future? No Thanks! and removed the 'frequent nudity or adult content' reverting the Germany geo-ban and the age verification by credit card in the UK," Paolo Perdicini writes on Bluesky. "It officially has only 'some nudity or adult content' as every good game should."
